Hi all...we're writing to tell you that we will have to cancel our Chanukah celebration due to a family situation that requires us to be in Portland tonight and through the weekend.  We are both saddened about not seeing all of you and having our very special celebration.  Unfortunately, there are no other weekends available at this point.  Perhaps, we will just have to do it in January or February...hey it could be an alternative Chanukah celebration.

Please let us know that you've received this message.  We have email in Portland and will get your responses.  If we don't hear from you we will contact you by phone.  We hope that you understand and that this doesn't greatly inconvenience you.  I know you'll be incredibly sad to miss out on Avi's latkes and my creme brulee but there will be another time to fatten ourselves up!

We'll be seeing each of you in the New Year and sending you much love, light, hope and joy for this season...
